In a statement made via www.queensryche.com<\/a>, Queensryche lead singer Geoff Tate has issued this statement about his version of Queensryche, which now has a lineup attached to it……<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m sure the last few months have been very frustrating for you.\u00a0I know they have been for me.<\/p>\n

There are so many questions and so few answers.<\/p>\n

It is said that adversity makes one stronger. Well, I\u2019m definitely in a better place now than I\u2019ve ever been before. I feel very positive and excited.<\/p>\n

The challenge, when you\u2019re in a creative environment, is keeping things fresh and invigorating, and after working with the same people for thirty years, it gets very difficult\u2014You walk into the room, and everybody knows what everyone is going to do. There\u2019s no spark, the chemistry is very tried and true and you just keep coming up with the same ways of expressing yourself.<\/p>\n

Today is a new day and I am thrilled to announce the new Queensr\u00ffche.<\/p>\n

Joining me are: Rudy Sarzo, Bobby Blotzer, Glen Drover, Kelly Gray and Randy Gane.<\/p>\n

Together we shall embark on a new musical journey that will be a greater extension of where Queensr\u00ffche has ever been.<\/p>\n

With this new project, with these new people, it\u2019s a whole new scene. There are new ideas, different musical backgrounds and a whole new set of parameters. Everyone has ideas you haven\u2019t heard before, and everyone is throwing them against the wall and suddenly \u2026 the music has a whole new life.<\/p>\n

I look forward to this new life and I hope to see you on tour as all of us come together and begin this new era.<\/p>\n
