Let’s start with the basics first \u2013 for those that aren\u2019t aware of the band, with its former members of Panic Cell and Denounce, <\/span>what was it that brought the band together and what is the inspiration behind the band name?<\/strong>
\nThe new band started with Panic Cell finished.\u00a0 3 Panic Cell members + 1 member of Denounce + 1 new frontman = Seven Deadly.\u00a0 The band name stems from the fact at least \u00be\u2019s of the band have committed one or more bad deed \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Can you please introduce each member of your band and give us a rock \u2018n\u2019 roll fact or myth about each of them?
\n<\/span><\/strong>Archie Wilson \u2013 vocals\/samples \u201cThe overlord, nuff said\u201d
\nH Virdee \u2013 guitars \u201cNicknamed the Pharoah, H is the party\u201d
\nDayve Irving \u2013 guitars\/b.vox\/keyboards \u201cPerfection mixed with liquor = Mr Irving\u201d
\nBobby T \u2013 bass \u201cMastermind, has aspirations of world domination \u201c
\nRob Hicks \u2013 drums \u201cPossibly possesses 2 of the fastest feet in the world today\u201d<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a scenario, you\u2019re a call centre operator and in 20 seconds you have to try and convince someone to listen to your new EP \u2018The Allegiance\u2019, before they hang up on you, what do you tell them?<\/strong>
\n20 seconds?\u00a0 It\u2019s time to throw that party at your house guys, we\u2019re at the front door now with all our gear…let us in and show us where to plug in!<\/p>\n

Together for just under a year at this point, what is it that gels so well with the band that makes it sound like you\u2019ve been doing it forever?<\/strong>
\nTime, experience, love, passion and Jagermeister<\/p>\n

In terms of your song writing, what do you consider to be the most important ingredients that make up a Seven Deadly song?<\/strong>
\nBig hooks, big riffs, great vocals…things that stick in your brain.\u00a0 We work with the worm…<\/p>\n

Both lyrically and musically, who or what inspires\/influences your music the most?<\/strong>
\nInspiration comes to us in lots of guises…normally after a few drinks!\u00a0 Seriously though, we\u2019re influenced by anything that grabs us, musically and topically past and present!<\/p>\n

Social media being a major thing for promotion of bands and artists these days leads me to asking about the idea behind essentially giving your EP away via Facebook, what was the reasoning behind doing this?<\/strong>
\nThe music market is saturated with bands.\u00a0 Some great, some not so great but for the majority all bands are using the same tools to market and sell their products.\u00a0 It\u2019s early days for Seven Deadly, we\u2019re in what we call a \u201cinvestment and growth\u201d period i.e we\u2019re more concerned with raising our profile and interacting with our growing fanbase than making money. Build, build, build…<\/p>\n

I guess the next question is, can we expect an album from Seven Deadly any time soon?<\/strong>
\nWe\u2019re locked away writing the 1st<\/sup> album write now \u2013 it\u2019s all under the radar but we expect to be the ones to leak the treats and get feedback from everyone before we commit to the final product.\u00a0 Eta is spring 2013.<\/p>\n

Touring wise, what have you got planned at the moment?<\/strong>
\nAll very low key \u2013 we\u2019re dipping our toes in the water with live shows.\u00a0 For now we\u2019re keeping a mystique about the band and focusing on other key matters.\u00a0 Touring is high on the agenda but not the most important thing for now.<\/p>\n

For those that haven’t yet seen you perform before, what can people expect from one of your live shows?<\/strong>
\nLoud, heavy, singalong, interact….party time basically.\u00a0 We\u2019re continuously refining our stageshow to keep things fresh and interesting for the audience and us.<\/p>\n

I love that only four shows in to the bands existence you were headlining one of the stages at Download festival in the UK, what kind of expectation does this put on the band, and more importantly, how did the show go?<\/strong>
\nDownload Festival 2012 was amazing, for a band like us so early on in our career to be headlining one of the stages was simply mind blowing.\u00a0 The whole experience really kicked us up a gear and got us in front of thousands of new fans.<\/p>\n

Now, for a bit of fun and it will soon be all the rage, we saw Tupac appear as a hologram at Coachella, if you could have any artist no longer with us perform on stage with you as a hologram, who would it be and why?<\/strong>
\nBon Scott \u2013 the ultimate party animal.\u00a0 Ronnie James Dio \u2013 the king of metal.\u00a0 Bill Hicks \u2013 nuff said!<\/p>\n

Lastly, here’s a chance to gaze into your magic mirror.\u00a0 In the next year, Seven Deadly will have:<\/strong>
\n1. A new album and music video released
\n2. A worthy run of music festivals, playing as vast as possible
\n3. Happiness \u2013 we\u2019re happy now but you can never have too much of the stuff!<\/p>\n
