\"\"<\/a>FRIDAY JULY 20, 2012 – For the first time in Australia, Canada\u2019s pop punk quartet Marianas Trench will hit the stage for a trio of headline shows this September.<\/p>\n

Following the earlier announcement of their appearance at Fat As Butter, Marianas Trench will head to Melbourne\u2019s Corner Hotel (Sept 24) and Brisbane\u2019s The Zoo (Sept 25) before winding up their debut Australian tour at Metro Theatre, Sydney (Sept 26).<\/p>\n

Trenchers can grab tickets from 9am Friday July 27, with My Live Nation members gaining early access to tickets through the pre-sale window opening at midday Wednesday July 25.<\/p>\n

2012 has already been a good year for the Vancouver locals with the success of their first single lifted from \u2018Ever After\u2019, their third studio album release. \u2018Haven\u2019t Had Enough\u2019 sparked radio plays and a worthy addition to MTV\u2019s Most Wanted list here, whilst at home the single and video hit #1 on the iTunes charts, with digital singles sales surpassing platinum.<\/p>\n

\u2018Fallout\u2019, the second track to be lifted from \u2018Ever After\u2019 and a platinum selling hit in North America, goes to radio this Monday July 23.<\/p>\n

Currently scheduled for festival shows through their summer, the band recently completed US and Canadian tours as special guests to musical cohorts Simple Plan, and released a third single, \u2018Desperate Measures\u2019, in North America earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Marianas Trench released their debut album \u2018Fix Me\u2019 in 2006 followed by \u2018Masterpiece Theatre\u2019 in 2009 featuring platinum singles \u2018Cross My Heart\u2019, \u2018All To Myself\u2019, \u2018Beside You\u2019 and \u2018Celebrity Status\u2019.<\/p>\n

Their latest album offering \u2018Ever After\u2019 is a soundtrack constructed around a story written by frontman Josh Ramsay (producer and co-writer of fellow Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen\u2019s #1 smash \u2018Call Me Maybe\u2019), described as: \u201ca warm throwback to the album era when your music was more than a bunch of orphaned songs sitting on an endless iPod playlist.\u201d<\/p>\n
