SIX60 Announce National tour

by

No strangers to Australian shores, New Zealand band SIX60 are pleased to announce they will be back in Australia this November and December visiting Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sydney.

The first half of 2015 has been all about New Zealand for the band where their much anticipated second album was released in February and is now certified platinum. After 28 weeks the album still sits in the Top 15 on the album chart. Now signed to iconic record label Capitol Records, the band are based in the US while they release the album over there.  It will be released in Australia later this year to coincide with their tour.

One of New Zealand’s favourite bands, SIX60 formed in 2008 and released their self titled album in 2011 where it debuted at number one and was certified gold within its first week of release. Since then the band has released another album and several EPs to similar success. They have been nominated for many awards at the New Zealand Music Awards, winning six to date including Single of the Year, Best Group, People’s Choice Awards, Highest Selling Single (NZ) and Radio Airplay Record of the year.  One of the most hardworking bands in NZ they have toured and travelled the world extensively with performances at SXSW, Canadian Music Week and our very own Homebake Festival, just to name a few!
